PCIERD is Outstanding Accounting Office again

For the second time around, the PCIERD Accounting Office received the 2006 Most Outstanding Accounting Office Award (National Government Category – Small Agency). The Commission on Audit (COA), through its Government Accounting and Financial Management Information Services (GAFMIS), conferred the award to PCIERD during the National Convention of the Association of Government Accountants (AGAP) on October 17, 2007 at the Crown Regency Suites, Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu. The award was given to PCIERD for having exemplary met the criteria of accuracy, timeliness, reliability and compliance to accounting rules and regulations set by the Committee on Awards. 

The PCIERD was chosen twice in a row from among all government agencies nationwide in the small agency category.  Fe T. Garcia, Chief of PCIERD’s Finance and Administrative Division (FAD) accepted the award with Sonia P. Cabangon, PCIERD Budget Officer, Connie Magallanes, Project Assistant II, and Ma. Christina T. Marifosque, former PCIERD Accountant.
