The country's top 12 researchers in 2006 were honored for their unique contributions in their specializations during the research achievement awards ceremony held in time fo rhe 74t annual convention of the National Research Council of the Philippines, a collegial body to the Department of Science and Technology at the Manila Hotel on March 8, 2007.
