CSC confers CEO rank to 18 DOST officials

The Career Executive Officer Examination (CEOE) is a unified thirdlevel examination system jointly adopted by the CSC and the Career Executive Service Board (CESB). CEOE consists of four stages such as

written test, assessment, interview (optional), and validation. Those who take the examination are government employees who occupy at least second level positions with salary grade 18 and above, third level and comparable positions, uniformed men with a rank of at least a senior inspector (or its equivalent), and with the rank of captain or higher in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

CEOE passers get Career Executive Officer (CEO) eligibility, which is required for appointment to third level or executive positions in the government.

THE CIVIL Service Commission conferred the rank of Career Executive Officer in simple rites to 18 officials of the Department of Science and Technology recently. DOST Secretary Estrella F. Alabastro led the oathtaking ceremonies at the DOST conference room.
